How to Use Delta Executor: Run Your First Roblox Script

Delta Executor takes a Lua script and runs it inside the Roblox game that is open. Two routes start a script: the editor, where a pasted loadstring runs, and Script Explorer, the app’s built-in script search.

What Must Be Ready Before a Script Runs?

Running a script takes three things: Delta installed, a key, and a script.

How Do You Run a Script in Delta Executor?

Copy the whole loadstring — the single line of Lua that loads a script from the site hosting it — then paste it into the editor and tap Execute.

  1. Find the script on a script site and copy the entire loadstring, from the first character to the last.
  2. Open Delta and its editor.
  3. Paste the loadstring into the editor.
  4. Tap Execute to run it.

A “Line 1” error in the console points to a syntax problem in the loadstring; copying the whole line in one piece avoids a cut-off paste.

What Is Script Explorer in Delta Executor?

Script Explorer is Delta’s built-in script search, so no script site is needed. Press the cloud button, then search by script name or by the game currently open. Press a script from the results and four options appear; pick one.

Where Do You Find Scripts for Delta Executor?

Scripts come from Script Explorer or from script sites and communities. A script written for the game you are in is the one that runs there, and the loadstring is the part to copy.

What Do Common Delta Executor Script Errors Mean?

Open the developer console first with F9, with /console typed in the game chat, or from the console inside Delta. The error text there names the cause.

ErrorDetails
Line 1…Meaning: Syntax issue in the loadstring or the script
Fix: Recopy the full loadstring
Error 404Meaning: The script was taken down or moved, or the loadstring has a typo
Fix: Recopy it, or pick another script
WaitForChild… / FindFirstChild…Meaning: The script is outdated or not built for the current game
Fix: Use a script made for that game
Attempted to call a nil valueMeaning: The script is outdated or not built for the current game
Fix: Use a script made for that game
Incomplete statementMeaning: The code is too long for the editor, or has a syntax issue
Fix: Recopy the script in full
Crashing on executeMeaning: The Delta install is out of date or damaged
Fix: Update or reinstall Delta
Crashing when certain features are usedMeaning: The Delta install is out of date or damaged

If Delta itself fails to open or run, the launch and run failure fixes cover it.

Why Does a Script Run but Do Nothing?

Most often the script is outdated or was not built for that game. The second cause is server-side authority (SSA): games with strong server checks verify most actions on the server, so a client script cannot change speed, jump power, flight or teleporting there. No executor, Delta included, works around SSA; a script’s author has to find a gap in the game’s code.

Outdated script

Find a newer version or a different script.

SSA game

Speed, jump, fly and teleport scripts stop working there by design.

Wrong game

Run a script written for the game you are in.

Are Scripts Safe to Run in Delta Executor?

Not every script is safe. A script can steal your inventory or Robux, get detected, or log your IP address. Run only scripts from a source you trust, and test an unfamiliar script on a scrap account first. Treat any claim of a server-sided script, item duping or a spawner as a scam: these are the usual bait for malicious code. File and account risk is covered in the risks of running scripts and files analysis.

FAQ

The editor offers Execute, Clear and Execute Clipboard. Running a script starts from the editor or from Script Explorer; an inject step is not part of either route.

Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows through an emulator each have an install page (linked above). Install guides cover Android, iOS and PC only; Xbox and Fire tablet are not among them.

A free install prompts for a key; a Premium account skips the prompt.

No. Every script runs inside your Roblox session, so an unfamiliar one is a risk to the account: use a scrap account.
