Delta Executor Not Working? Fix Crashes & Error 280 (2026)
Delta Executor stops working in one of four places: the install, the launch, the script or the key, and each place has its own fix. Find the place first, apply the fix for it, and replace the file with the current one when the fix does not hold.

Why Is Delta Executor Not Working? Start With Where It Fails
Where Delta Executor fails decides the fix, because an install failure, a launch failure, a script failure and a key failure have different causes.
| Where it fails | Details |
|---|---|
| Install | What you see: “App not installed”, invalid package, “App not compatible with device” Where the fix is: Install section |
| Launch | What you see: A crash or a close on open; “Integrity not verified” or “Delta is no longer available” on iPhone and iPad Where the fix is: Crash section, iPhone section |
| Script | What you see: Delta opens but a script does nothing, or the console prints an error Where the fix is: Script section |
| Roblox message | What you see: “Your version of Roblox may be out of date” (Error 280) Where the fix is: Error 280 section |
| Key prompt | What you see: “Key too long”, “Failed to cache link”, “Hour wait time” Where the fix is: Key errors |
Running print(identifyexecutor()) in a game prints the executor name, version and architecture.
Delta Executor Will Not Install or Says “App Not Compatible”
An install failure means the file never became a working app, and each message has its own fix.
Each message has its own steps in the app not installed and invalid package fixes.
Delta Executor Crashes or Will Not Open
When Delta Executor crashes on launch, three fixes apply, cheapest first:
- Force stop the app in Android settings and open it again.
- Restart the phone and open the app.
- Reinstall Delta from the current Android file, after removing the installed copy.
A crash that appears only when a script runs, or only when one feature is used, follows the same fix: update or reinstall Delta. On a PC, the same file runs inside an Android emulator; its virtualization and Roblox-app requirements are in the Windows emulator guide.
Delta Executor Not Working on iPhone or iPad
On iPhone and iPad, three messages mean one thing: the certificate that signed Delta was revoked. “Integrity not verified”, “App crashes on launch” and “Delta is no longer available” all end the same way: reinstall with a working certificate.
| Message | Details |
|---|---|
| “An internet connection is required to verify…” | Meaning: The certificate has blacklisted the phone Fix: Sign with another certificate, or restore the phone |
| “Developer not trusted” | Meaning: The certificate is not trusted yet Fix: Trust it under Settings > General > Device Management |
The developer states that most iOS problems are certificate problems outside Delta, since Delta does not configure or sign certificates. The iOS install and re-signing options cover each way to install with a fresh certificate.
Delta Executor Opens but a Script Does Nothing
When Delta Executor opens and a script still does nothing, the console names the cause. Open it with F9, type /console in the game chat, or use Delta’s built-in console. Keep Delta up to date, since a crash on execute calls for an update or a reinstall. The meaning of each script error is in the how-to guide for running scripts.
What Does Roblox Error 280 Mean With Delta Executor?
Error 280 is Roblox’s message that reads “Your version of Roblox may be out of date”. Roblox Support lists five fixes for Android: reboot the device, force close the app, reinstall Roblox from Google Play, correct the date and time, and check the network.
Delta’s Android file bundles Roblox’s own client, so the Roblox app from Google Play is a separate install that has to be removed before the Delta file goes on. Replacing the Delta file is covered in how to update Delta Executor.
Roblox Support’s error-code page links an article for each of these codes:
| Code | Meaning in Roblox Support |
|---|---|
| 264 | The same account joined an experience from two devices |
| 279 / ID 17 | The connection to the game failed |
| 280 | Roblox asks for its own version to be current |
| 403 | Roblox.com denied access to the page |
Key Errors, Bans and Blocked Files: Where to Go
Two failures are not runtime problems and have their own pages.
A key error
“Key too long”, “Failed to cache link”, “Hour wait time”: the key errors and gateway fixes.
A ban, a moderation notice or a blocked download
A Roblox ban or moderation notice, or a Windows Security or Play Protect block on a download: whether Delta Executor is safe.
What Not to Do When Delta Executor Stops Working
Three habits make a broken install worse, and none of them fixes Delta.
Play Protect gets switched off temporarily for one error only: “App not installed / invalid package”.
